State Representative Ben Baker was elected to represent the citizens of Missouri’s 160th House District in November 2018 by more than 75 percent of the votes cast. Rep. Baker serves on the Downsizing State Government, Elementary and Secondary Education, and Workforce Development committees, and the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules. He also is the Missouri State Chair for the American Legislative Exchange Council, a nationwide organization dedicated to the principles of limited government, free markets, and federalism. Rep. Baker is a member of the House Conservative Caucus and the bipartisan Preacher Caucus.

Ben Baker calls on Kim Gardner to resign
"In light of recent actions by St. Louis prosecutor Kim Gardner, I have sent a letter to ask for her resignation. Confiscating legally owned firearms from law-abiding citizens for lawfully defending their lives, home, and family is simply unacceptable. We must not let this behavior continue in the Show-Me State!"

Ben Baker receives awards and endorsements from conservative organizations
Rep. Ben Baker is the only candidate in this race to be endorsed by Missouri Right to Life.
Rep. Baker received the Freshman Legislator of the Year Award for Defending Religious Liberty in 2019.
Rep. Baker was recognized by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce in 2019 as a Business Champion.
Rep. Baker was ranked No. 2 in 2019 on the Missouri State Legislature Vote Studies by the Club for Growth Foundation, a scorecard for legislators on economic policy.
The United for Missouri Legislative Scorecard gave Rep. Baker an A rating in 2019, one of only 10 representatives to receive such a grade.
